WATCH WHO YOU OFFEND

I love Robert Greene’s writing. Especially The 48 Laws of Power. For those with a cynical view of ‘power’, I must say, whatever you interpret from it speaks to who you are inherently. Take that at your will.

This design was inspired by The 19th Law. In this blooming artist journey, I no longer take verbal slights to heart, but you will certainly know who you’re dealing with in the end. Show respect. I am the one.

CHICAGO GIRLS 2020

Fat Tiger Workshop’s very own, DesMoney, employed my help for his Adidas Originals x Chicago Girls Do It Better collab lookbook. For this project I designed and hand-sewed original apparel including CGDIB coin pouch, reversible satin athletic shorts and ribbon lace-up jeans; as well as cropping his signature ‘Chicago Girls’ hoodies.

PLUG

This coat was designed for the first Black Woman Over Breathing exhibition with my mother as my muse. I dedicate this piece to her & all black women - resourceful beings who have turned a little into a lot & passed on the keys to the hustle.

SPRUNG

For this personal project, I designed a capsule collection inspired by the innate softness, yet resilient force, of nature in the spring, and how it mirrors that of women. Cozy fabrics and loose silhouettes were coupled with sporty design to showcase this duality.

Hand-sewn items include: satin athletic shorts, velvet crewnecks, cropped embroidered polo sweater, velvet skirt sets, fuzzy pink jacket, and cozy grey hoodie-short set.
