Jamila Kesi is a seamstress and designer of the eponymous sewing brand based in Chicago, IL. With a commitment to precision and quality, it is my intention to create stylish, functional apparel with the entire life-cycle of the garment in mind. Where garments already exist, I am here to perfect and protect them through alterations and repair services. The JK brand treats sustainability as a journey, not a destination, and will explore more eco-friendly methods of production as I grow.

None of your personal information will be shared by me to any entity. Customer photos are appreciated and can be shared with me via Instagram or email!

SHIPPING

Standard shipping to US destinations only. Please fully read the product description for the item you plan to purchase - some designs are made-to-order, thus have varying production times. Once your item has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. For any questions/concerns with shipping, track the package first. SUSTAINABILITY STATEMENT

There is no general consensus or criteria to classify one’s production methods as “sustainable”. What I offer is a commitment to upcycling from existing clothing whenever possible and a zero-waste approach when new fabrics are utilized. Scraps are saved and reused in subsequent projects.
